Where we draw outside the lines

The Forest Place was created from the nostalgia of childhood. Some of my favorite memories stem from my childhood, one of them being 'the forest place'.  When I was a kid there was a wooded area in my backyard that my friends, family and I used to play in. We made forts, fought 'bad guys' and made fairy homes. This space that holds so many memories became known to us as 'the forest place'. It is a space where our imaginations were free to create endless stories. 

My items are meant to push children to use their imaginations. To scuffle about in their "kitchen" and serve up meals with a bit of whimsy. To play dolls and have unique accessories that you cannot find in a store. 

 I wanted to share this whimsy and imagination with a larger crowd. That is when I began making unique earrings and decorations. I realized that adults need imagination just as much as children do. So I hope my items can bring a smile to you or a loved ones face!
